basmati rice good for cutting?

does anyone know if this is a goos source of carbs whilst cutting??

    brown basmatti is probably better due to the extra minerals and vits

    Yeah if going for white rice then basmati as far as I know is the slowest digesting type. Good for cutting ay....

    im not really fussed whether i eat brown or white. its just that cooking brown rice takes so bloody long. so basmati rice will NOT make me put on weight?

    yes it will if the quantities are enough

    you will also lose weight if quanity is low and overall cals are low

    you can lose weight eating mcdonalds alone in the same manner as you can get fat eating salad alone

    i would only be eating small portions of it. maybe the size if a fist or so once or twice a day. would that be ok?

    whole diet counts, eating basmatti rice all day could lose or gain weight depends on activity levels, basal metabolism and quantities consumed.

    I'd still opt for brown, its more filling and has a better micronutrient content

    Just to expand on what TT said...

    you could eat 2 grain of rice per day but if eating say 10,000cals in cream cakes then I'd expect you to put on weight (unless you weigh about 30stone)

    alternatively you could eat 500g of rice a day but if thats all you ate then you'd probably lose weight
