beemac's journal - and so it begins...

I am 21 - since being a young lad I've been tall and skinny and have always been very active. I've recently stopped all of my fitness related stuff, crucially my cycling which was about 150miles a week and am now a chubby runt. This is mainly due to my (lack of) diet. Consisted mainly of Supernoodles, pasta and the chippy.

I am 6'1.5" and as of today am 178lb - body shape is, well, a mess;

I started a decent diet on 10 Jun 07 and my first gym session will be on 13 Jun07.

This is going to be my routine; 5x5s

Monday (Pull)
5M cycle
Power Cleans
Barbell Rows
Barbell Curls

Tuesday
10M Cycle

Wednesday (Push)
5M Cycle
Bench Press
Barbell Shoulder Presses
Scull Crushers

Thursday
10M Cycle

Friday (Legs)
5M Cycle
Back Squats
Barbell Leg Deadlifts
Calf Raises
Weighted Crunches

Saturday
REST

Sunday
20M Cycle

If anyone has any advice it would be more than welcome

Thats what the missus keeps telling me, but due to the physique I've had since I can remember its just how I feel!

Do you find you have any problems with your back and the weights with being tall?

    13 Jun 2007

10.00am Toast with jam (gf fed it me whilst half asleep)
12.00pm 150g chicken with salad + 40g whey protein shake with 250ml skimmed milk
    3.00pm 100g tuna

4pm train (first lot so don't laugh!)
Bench press 25kg (oh dear) 5x5
    Skull Crushers 20kg 5x5
    Shoulder press 20kg 5x5
PWO 60g whey protein shake with 250ml skimmed

    6pm 3M cycle
8pm omlette - 3 large egg whites 1 yoke, 50g cottage cheese and some mushrooms
    11pm sleep

I think that the weight was too low on the Bench press I will up this to say 40kg next week as it didn't even challenge me. The weight on the skull crushers however was a bit too much as it was hurting my forearms (poor form I guess).

Well, had of a big of an off today on the bike so things went out of the window- silly woman pulled out to turn without indicating i went straight into the back of her so if anyone has a spare front faring for a Suzuki RF600R let me know!

    6am
    3xOatibix with skimmed milk

Spent 9am to 4pm trying to straighten the bike up so...

    4.15pm 100g Tuna
6pm 175g chicken breast with brown rice in some nice Chinese sauce + 50g protein shake
8pm 50g oats 30g whey with skimmed milk
    10pm sleep

no excercise at all today as my whole body is killing from the crash
