beginner abs..

beginner abs..

hi all. looking for some advice again please.
i currently have an ok training routine (i think) and am pretty strict on my diet and know you cant spot train. it is a three day split covering the follwoing
day 1 - chest and legs
day 3 - back and shoulders
day 5 - bi and tris

i do cardio 4 - 5 times a week. im 6ft and 10.5
i also do ab training 2 days a week.
it consists of
crunchs 3 x 20
reverse crunchs 3 x 20
side bends 3 x 35

im not fat. most part of my body seems to be pretty tight. i have a 29" waist. i have been doing this routine for about 6 months.

the problem is i have no stomach muscle what so ever. :( so i would like some help if poss. what can i do to improve this.

ps - unfortunatly there is no incline bench at the gym so cant do waited situps.

    Do you have a swiss ball, start doing crunches on one making sure you drop right back round it. Once you are comfortable with it, start using weight, aim for 3 sets of 8-10 reps.

    6 months...maybe u should change ur routine

    i advise u to try the swiss ball as well if u dont have the incline bench...it worked for me....if not try to do the double crunch, where u do a crunch and a leg raise at the same time...
