best 4G PAYG android smartphone

Hi Guys,

Got an old PAYG phone on EE that is not 3G let alone 4G so can I get a 4G PAYG phone or do I get a new SIM. I want to keep my old number. Which are the best 4G PAYG android phones?

Don't want to get something cheap and nasty i.e run out of space want android 4.2 or 4.4. Not willing to pay £600 but £200 max.

A quick look at the payg options on the EE website and the Sony Xperia M2 looks like a decent option. £149.99 and good spec, including a microsd card slot, which is pretty handy.

Personally though, i'd go for the HTC Desire 610. £179.99 but good reviews, decent spec and with HTC you'll get a good build quality and longevity.

Be aware as well if your current phone is that old you will almost certainly need a new sim card as well.

Isn't the Moto G meant to be alright, that's only a bit over £100

They do do 4G version and I'm certain it knocks out at ~£130

Yeah the Moto G seems a decent wee phone. A mate of mine is planning to get one, so will get feedback on it once he does.

A friend of mine has just bought the Moto G 2nd Gen which has a 5 inch screen. There are a few models but the one he got was £140 but it is not 4G. I've played with it and for the money it's top notch.
