cardio is only part of the equaiton mate, diet is probably a larger contributer to fat loss than the cadio you do. whats your diet like

     PB's 1RM

    Deadlift 270kg
Bench   140kgx2 New PB as of Nov 16 woo!
    Squat    210kg

We are all different but given the fact you are training with weights, I would presume that you are looking to add muscle or strength. If this is the main goal, then SSCV would be the best method. I would do this separately to your weight sessions, so preferably in the AM if you train with weights in the PM.

    ..."diet is fairly good"...

Steady state cardio is slow to chew up calories, by focusing on diet you can get a marked improvement from small changes.

Either way I would use a mixture of interval/higher intensity stuff and a few long walks, this mix improves health, performance and body composition

Yea i would say steady cardio...i tried quite a few methods...but ive come to the conclusion that slow steady cardio works for me!!! Not a fan of the higher intesity stuff...i feel its just utilising glycogen stores...rather than taping into fat stores

That it is point, it is that level of work that stimulates the hermetic type adaptation effect that chews up the fat...

It does this after... and for much, much longer than you sit on the bike doing SSCV

Often people who aren't a fan of interval and 'metcon' type techniques either a) haven;t done it long enough to adapt to the extra workload, b) don't fuel the training and recovery properly (incl. sleep etc), c) don;t like the level of work necessary or d) a+b+c

... actually a mixture works for me, for the majority of my clients HIIT/Metcon is the most effective and efficient but some form of mixture is always superior, it's just most people don't have the time for it.

You say 'weight loss', did you get body comp testing done (other than by eye-balling it)?
