    jan molby imo.

bloke was a legend, would stand in centre circle and pass ball around like he owned the pitch. inch perfect most of the time aswell, silly fat get could of been even better if he done some running.

but if your going to say someone like molby, then i would offer le tissier :D

Ok - this might be a controversial choice...

He's not one of your flair players, full of tricks and stepovers, but a real midfield general who gives every last drop of sweat for the team...

Gattuso (Italy). You'd rather have him on your team, than against you.

Riquelme makes his players work with his passes, and is a topclass player.

And yo man, it's been a while Ill drop you an email, need to catch up

    Stevie Gerrard anyone..?

He would get into any team in the world, probably in any position. He may not have the tricks of Zidane or Ronaldinho, but he is truly awesome.

What and Zidane was? Did you not see him in earlier games in the World Cup? He was good but certainly not best in the world. And he has dropped a bit in club level football lately as he has gotten older. Don't get me wrong, brilliant player IMO, but not best in the world by those standards.

If your going on world cup performances then its Cannavaro, Gatusso, Pirlo, Zambrotta and Buffon think im being a little biased sorry forgot to mention Grosso too but for me even though they did not have a good world cup ronaldihno or Henry there countries should build the team round them as they were playing out of posistion in the world cup

I was in Berlin when Cannavaro lifted the world cup for the fourth time, 34,38,82,06
