i've had a few blood pressure machines in my life. i've always gone w/digital. they do make some cheap ones that suck, just like anything. i found the cheaper ones still work okay but are more prone to error during use. no matter what, the best way you can check accuracy is to take it to your doctor's office and check it against the reading their equipment gives you.

Yep as said. You pay peanuts, you gets monkeys...or something like that lol. I've got this model and its bang on the money every time I've had it checked at the same time by the doc using the upper arm cuff.

Here in the States, you can take your digital BP machine to a FireStation and the 'medics there will compair the machine to thier readings for free... this way you skip the Doctor fee.

Medisave do a huge range, they have a list of tested/approved ones.

I think The Doctor also answered this question in a previous post with a link to tested/approved units list.
