body power expo 2015 tips

Hi, I am hoping to go to this and taking my 16 year old son with me he has got the fitness/body building bug at the Mo and is quite excited at the prospect of going. what I would like to know is, are there any tips you could provide for a newbie to one of these events as we have never been to any type of show or event before, and is it best to get VIP tickets and also a ticket to the pro show £10 standard seat each extra, I know it says that with VIP ticket you get entrance earlier than normal tickets but what time is best to start queuing at if it lets you in from 9am. thanks for any tips you can provide. Also don't know if it makes any difference but we will be going on the Saturday probably the busiest day I would expect. Or would it be better to try for the Sunday?

You'll get in anyway with a normal ticket, just go later.  And the pro show is worth it. The show is open for a long time, so even if you role up at 11am, you'll be in for 12 noon and you've got several hours then the pro show in the evening.

I don't think there's to much benefit going earlier from what I saw last year.

1 tip though. take a couple of old t shirts because some companies were doing t shirt exchange. I dont really get why but you give them a t shirt and they give you a new one.

If you go to the right entrance, they won't even look at your ticket time whether VIP or standard, and you can get in early on a standard ticket. That's your risk though!
