I'm right and everyone else is wrong. [:P]

No real secrets bro, it's about getting everything right for you personally. The best bit of advise is to adapt and improvise. There are many great routines, theories and tips but tailoring them to your specifics and lifetstyle rather than just copying to the book would be my advise.

There are no "secrets" to bodybuilding and weightlifting, just people rediscovering what has already been discovered and calling it something new.

iv read all about how to eat and what to eat, and how to train e.g. training different parts of the body each day therefore giving correct rest time for each muscle group, i'v been taking creatine and whey aswel but although i do notice i am stronger, i dont seem to put the muscle mass on that i would like.

    It takes time mate.
You also have to put everything into it at the gym and not just got through the motions.
Read cashmans sticky in the beginners section.
What sort results/muscle mass are you expecting in what time scale?

i'll have a read of that, i don't really know what to expect and how long? i just don't feel in myself that i'm really getting out what i'm putting in. i'll keep reading and askin you all questions anyway and i'm sure i'll get there eventually. i don't want to be huge anyway, just moderately muscular and toned.

Good advice, as well as getting enough sleep.

The best advice of all is to choose your parents wisely

i've not had my diet or routine checked, but i dont think anyone could say you must do this or that because what with work commitments i find it hard to stick to certain aspects of a diet and routine e.g. splitting meals up into smaller portions more often, and having the correct rest periods between training etc. don't get me wrong i stick to what i have read and understand about diet and training as well as i can, but like a lot of people that i'm sure are in the same position, i find it hard to stick to it religiously. i have tried to change my shifts slightly, which i hope will help me once i get used to them. i've changed them so i now get more days off therefore i can obviously stick to my routine really well on them days.
i do realise that diet wise i think i need to take in more protein, but although i wouldn't have much problem doing this, most of the time i would have to take large amounts in in one sitting or maybe two sittings rather than say 5 or 6 smaller servings-which i gather would be a lot better for me?

You could try taking 200+mg dbol per day. You would get big quick, but the downside is you would probably be dead. Big, but dead. [V]

    heheh, j/k
