calf raises

calf raises

Hey I'm going to the gym in about 45 minutes and was just wondering...

I know I'm meant to train calves and I've tried it before (barbell calf raises) but I found it pretty much impossible to keep balance.

Also because I couldn't balance on the floor I didn't even try and use the calf rack.

Do I have to use the calf rack to do calf raises and are there any tips for keeping balance when you go on your tiptoes?

Also, concerning SLDL - I can't keep a straight leg and reach for the ground...can i bend my legs a little when doing this exercise or not? :|

    you don't keep your legs straight when doing sldl,just a smallbend will do.what kind of calf rack is it.
