can I still make progress with this routine?
Ive been doing a slight variation of frankie ny's routine for last 3 months or so with my main goal being to add mass and have made good gains-:
push- weighted pushups, milatary press
pull- deadlift,close grip chins, bent over row
legs/abs- squats, sldl, weighted crunches
using 4x6 rep range
But i hit a problem with squats in that i can no longer perform them safely on my own. I've tried doing front squats but now these are becoming very awkward to get the bar on to my shoulders and then down again safely. I also have no room for a power rack or squat stand. The BIG QUESTION is can i still make progress without squatting using this routine instead?? I can now though perform dips at home.
chest dips, weighted press ups or flat bench, close grip bench
deadlift, close grip chins, bent over row
SLDL, weighted crunches
What do you reckon guys and girls?
