Yeah, I like to take a week out of the gym a few times per year 'cause it gives my body a rest.
A few things here.
Firstly as you say, you have a tan, that'll help make you look harder and more defined.
Secondly, if you've been eating so little and, I'm assuming, been clubbing, dancing, shagging swimming etc etc, you'll have been burning more calories than will have been eating. You might have lost a bit of muscle but also, a fair bit of bodyfat, again, making you look more defined (which consequently makes you seem more muscley/bigger).
Also, in you mind's eye, you'l EXPECT to have shrunk and have lost pounds so ghoing back to the gym in your current state, you'll look at yourself and you'll be better than expected.
Oh, and apart from anything else, if you've had a great holiday, successful with the girls or just had a cracking time, your confidence will be through the roof, making your lifts easier.
Oh and... if it was a successful holiday in terms of the women. Sex boosts test my man! In fact, even just seeing all that hot semi-naked totty on the beach will help boost test levels!
