    manuka

    just reading that link...

"The body converts fructose into glycogen which is used as a building block for fat tissue..." really??

Only exceess glycogen is a building block for fat tissue. The body burns glycogen stores as it's primary fuel source.

Keeping balanced blood sugar is the way to avoid getting fat.

So eat moderate/low GI carbs in most meals. Only eat high GI carbs when you have low blood sugar.

The part on fruits is way too simple. Some fruits are slow releasing like apples.

Just like some complex carbs are fast releasing.
