I've always wondered this myself. I recently got a tub of Optimum Nutrition Casein and use it with water (tried with milk & tastes much better)

I wonder if mixing it with milk will slow down the digestion even more? or won't it matter, with it being casein and all...

What's the worst that could happen?

I assume, as it's casein, with water will make no difference, it'll be slow regardless, however - it's certainly tastier with milk and, as it's before bed, it wouldn't matter using it at this time of night :D

    I could be wrong though!

you could even add some flavoured whey if you have any and maybe some splenda.
