change of routine while cutting
Been doing 5*5 routine while bulking with reasonable results. Now its time to cut
I thought I'd experiment with a change in workout...
I'm keeping the same exercises (Frankie's) but reducing volume, increasing weights each session, for 6 / 8 weeks. (basically about 4 sets of 3 reps)
I usually find working out quite depressing while cutting as weights have to dropped so I thought that would be a more positive approach.
Sessions are shorter and I allow more time between sets, Seems to be working so far (minimal muscle loss)
Is anyone using a similar approach?
Any thoughts welcome.
