close grip bench

i have been doing cg bench when training tri ceps but find i dont really feel it hitting the desired muscle or getting a pump. how wide should my grip actually be? should i do another tricep excercise instead? anyone else find this?

    personally i would use skull crushers or bent bar pull downs as they seem to hit hard.
    when u use close grip bench your delts take a lot and u should grip about 6 inches apart.
    this is my opinion and works well 4 me

    Shoulder width works for me. At the top of the movement you must remember to squeeze the triceps.
