My Mum had a colposcopy. If you have any questions about it feel free to e-mail me and I can ask her. I realise you might not be comfortable asking via me but I'm afraid she can't use e-mail!

Don't know what is wrong, I have checked out my address as previous people from here have not been able to send me messages, the settings are right so I'm not sure what the problem is! Still not got your message from here either.

I had one a few years ago. It was a quick procedure and although it was uncomfortable, it wasn't painful.

A friend of mine had it done and asked to be put under whilst they did it. They should do this if you ask, may involve a day stay in hospital though.

My ex had 2 during our year+ we were going out...
She said it wasn't painful, just uncomfortable, with some mild discomfort for like a day later.
The procedure isn't bad at all, but the fear of the biopsy results can get to you. It was a stressful time, but it is a very very very common thing. This is the reason why females should see gyn's on a regular basis.
I know I'm like a week late for this post, so I wish you the best of luck.

It'll all be ok...
No need to be pessimistic, be optimistic the biopsy will be negative, and all will be well. Live for today...
Why change my name...it's my old nick name and a reminder of a way I don't want to be...again
