coming back after injury

I'm recovering from a disk bulge which was hitting my sciatic nerve. The pain is gone now but I'm still vary of returning to proper training. anyone have any advice on this issue?

    I've got the same thing, only mine's not really going away.  Did you stop training completely bud or just some exercises and for how long?  Sorry I know this doesn't help you, but I've had this since September and it's doing my head in now.

    Take it slow and forget about what you used to be able to life. 
     
    I started again properly in January and it was very very hard. Back in the swing of things now and feeling good. Still not completely injury free but no major problems. Injuries have cursed me for some time now so its nice to be training properly again. I still have to hold back a bit though.

    hey thanks for dropping in, I continued training but much lighter and avoided any standing movement, squating dead -lifting and any bent rows. I also couldn't bench properly because lying into position on the bench tweaked the nerve, I couldn't even do skullcrushers.
