competiton shape

just wondering about competing. before you competed did you get advice from what parts of your body were lagging etc from a professional, or did you just look in the mirror and think this or that needs work. also did someone show you how to pose or did you just figure it out for yourself.

It does help for someone else to have a look at you or your photos. If you don't know anyone then stick them up here. You need to do the proper poses though to give people a better idea. Don't forget the semi relaxed poses too

i think the problem with posting pics on here is everyone is too nice. everyone likes getting compliments but sometimes you need someone to say your rear delts are **** etc.(maybe not being quite so blunt) if no one tells you there is a problem you are never going to know. i have posted pics on here before and got some good feedback but what i really need is some constructive criticism.

Sometimes true... mostly not. I've read a lot of posts with good, constructive critiques on progress. On the other hand, few members will post any pics if they can't show results. I appreciate comments that take into account my good and bad points.

If you ask where you can make improvements then people will give you the answers. If you ask for comments on how you have improved and you show you have then you will get compliments. Ask the right question and hopefully you'll get the right answers
