current and future

stats - 18yrs old, 6ft, 12stone1

currently my routine is fairly basic, i do 3 full body workouts (mon/wed/fri) i take the 3 big compound moves and do variations of these then usually add another move..

sets are always 5x5

example -

deadlift (80kg)
bench press (60kg)
squat (50kg) - needs work
military press (35kg)

SLDL (60kg)
incline dumbell press (2x23kg)
squat (50kg)
upright row (30kg)

try to increase by 1.25-2.5 session/week

ive been doing this routine for quite a while now and have recently got my both my training and diet up to scratch and have notice gains in terms of size and strength.

few questions -

- is my routine good? is a split routine a better option?
- how often should you change routines? what would you recommend i try next?

Maybe you are lagging with your squats because you do them on the same session as deadlifts? Deads to hit the legs pretty hard and I know I'd find it difficult to do squats after deads....

its not bad, but i would make a few changes. mainly i would like to see more direct upper back work - maybe replace the upright rows with pullups. dips are also worth including, maybe replace one of the chest pressing exercises.
