cutting problems....

I am aware you lose the 'bulk' look when you begin to cut but i didn't realise my arms would shrink so much!! I decided to cut 3 weeks ago but i couldn't take much more as my biceps were shrinking to much so i carbed up for the last 4 days and the size is back. I am taking l-glutamine as I am aware of its benefits while cutting. How do you guys stick it out when losing size? Is it possible to retain 100% of your muscle while cutting. I am going back on my cut now - I am just gonna stick it out until the start of september when i will begin a 3 month bulk. Its just I hate losing size !!

Wouldn't of thought you should lose noticeable size, especially in just 3 weeks.

Post up your current diet mate so we can have a look at it.

yeah of course you can keep near enough 99% of muscle and cut fat down but it will take longer.
the longer you cut, the more you can manipulate your diet and change things slowly while you reach different phases and your body reaches new levels, change cardio sessions, timings, and also change weight training.

if a person who has 18% and cuts to 10% in say 8 weeks, they will lose more muscle than the same person who does this in say 12-16 weeks.

but yeah, I know how you feel buddy, Im cutting as well and my shoulders dont look as full as before

still though, I want to see how it looks to be single bf % again. going to try and pretty striated this year, still a few weeks left, stick to the diet, cardio, then when it gets colders, ITS BULKING TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!
