cutting progress

i've been cutting for over 5 weeks, lost 7kg which is actually more than i hoped to lose. despite losing this much im still not as ripped as i'd hoped! i still have to tense my abs for them to look good. began at 82kg now just 75kg! weights literally dropped off in the last 2 weeks.

my question is now that ive dropped a considerably amount of weight, do i have to change my diet so as to reduce calories?

this link is my diet http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/m_1892884/tm.htm - i have a refeed once a week

??? thanks

Agree with TT on this one.

    Consistency is key.

Changing your approach every week will not get you where you want to be in my opinion.

yes i know and i will be consistent, my only question was do i have to reduce calories in accordance with my weight dropping. is that what youre meant to do on a cut drop and drop cals?

Keep your kls the same as long as you are losing weight (max 2ib per week IMO) once you stop losing weight then either increase output i.e add extra morning unfueled cardio or decrease kls and monitor!

Whats your cardio like, i find the biggest difference in AM unfuelled cardio to PM cardio in that Am unfuelled works a hell of a lot better!
I say give it chance to work, your obviously on the right track as youve lost plenty already so just keep on!

Yeh thats the problem, abs the last place it comes off, its easy to overestimate how much of your body is lean weight.

it reali varies mate some people lose fat in different places at different times. One person may have great development in there abs at 10% but still holding fat in there lower back etc and visa versa

Keep with it mate and see how it goes!

Im in the same boat and cutting at the moment too, its going well but im just trying to be patient as it doesnt happen over night!

Should create a bigger ratio of chest to waist then.
