cv with weights

Is it alright to do cv on the same day as weights? I currently go to the gym 3 days a week. I'll do about 1/2 hour of cv on each of those days, usually before my weights. I do this because i can't get to the gym more than 3 days a week and i don't want to neglect my cardio fitness. Now, some folk say never do cv on the same day and some say it's okay as long as you are well fueled. What then?
My goal is to increase in size and lose a bit of body fat, that currently disguises my six pack, which i'm sure is under there. I'm fairly slim anyway, being only 12 stone. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance......

    if you have to do them on the same day id do weights first when my energy levels are high then do the cardio after, keeping it at a moderate rate. i would also consider using a whey shake in water between my weights and cardio.

    A lot is made of this cardio and weights on the same day issue, to be honest dont neglect your cardio like you say, but do as Snoopy suggests and do your weights first then cardio. You wont lose much if any muscle if you keep your protein levels high.
