friday, legs
all movements are SINGLE leg
hamstring curls warmup 15x30lb swap leg
pre-exhaust 30x40lb swap leg
triple drop 6x50lb, 8x40lb, 10x30lb swap leg
repeat triple drop

leg extensions,
15x30lb swap leg
30x80lb swap leg
next is 21's but with 30 reps so i spose there 30's
30's using 80lb swap leg
repeat 30's swap leg

reclining leg press (both legs)
warmup 15x250kg
30's again using 250kg

that was physical torture, legs were burning after/during leg extensions. and the rec leg press i reached failure at about number 15! but was pushed to finish the 30. i started to get a massive twitch in my right quad but they convincerd me it was in my head! was it bolox!!!!

next week back to relative normallity. phew

week 3 update

bit late i know. weight has settled at 239-240lbs which is nice, it given me a couple of days to get used to lugged more poundage around!

diet was a bit slack over the weekend, had a bit of a personal loss so eating went through the floor. knew i had to eat, so most of it was shakes virtually no solid meals. [V]

but all in all, strength has risen none-the-less things are getting easier to do in general, even moving 20kg plates around isnt hard anymore!

missed monday cos of bank holiday, so everything is being shifted back a day now, so im training straight through. appetite is back, and im really ready for it! short update today, havent much time.

keep u posted[:p]

hey glyndwr, how ya doin? yeah its a bit of a puzzle at the mo!

no insulin to be added
minor footnote, may be plateauing, so i may do something drastic to kick up some more gains, but staying the same weight but seem leaner.

week 4 update

im afraid ive been a bit of a tit over the weekend nutrition wise.

funeral saturday morning started the weekend with a bang! (sarcasm) then working for 13hrs, then a day out on sunday and a curry sunday night.
tried at every occasion to eat and take supps, but appetite has been shocking. actually woke up to a rumbling stomach today so thats a good sign. must of had 2500cals up till now today, so thats a start.

throat has levelled out, pain has subsided so no need for anti-biotics

strength is still increasing, though enery is less? wierd.

weight is still a constant 239lbs and after a week of being the same weight, it feels alot more natural. so lethargy is no prob now, just lack of energy. sounds a contradiction in terms, but i know what i mean!

let you know more

strength is having another jump again now, back/traps lastnight, tried seated rows cos i havent done them in ages.
lat pulldown were 1st
30x110lb wide grip
triple drop 7x 210lb, 6x180lb, 12x150lb

seated rows,
30x110lb
triple drop 6x 230lbs, 7x200lbs, 14x170lb

single arm lat-pullins
warmup 30x30lb
triple drop 50lbx6, 40lbx8, 30lbx10
repeat for other arm.

then do it all over again!

traps

warmup shrug bar
30x 60kg
6x160kg, 6x120kg, 6x80kg

done!

v.hard but productive, mum commented that im looking more defined under my arms thismorning. and thats from an un-trained eye.

See what happens this week with your weight and strength after the wobble at the weekend.

If you continue to gain strength but do not continue to put on weight, it's a sure sign your total calories aren't high enough. Remember you'll have a higher body mass to sustain now.

rite good weekend, weight has stabilised over the period. its a steady 243lbs so ive been a bit of a pleb with the measuring out of the multi-dose vial and im running low on test, so everything is shifted forward a bit, primo started on the weekend and ive got about 10 days of test left. im not really looking to add much more physical weight just harden up everything ive gained, if i can il be VERY happy, hopefully not to much of a drop when i do post cycle.
very hungry now so im goin for some food! :)

weight is the same now, levelled at 243.
added cardio twice a week now, just as a bit of incentive to see some abs, cardio is harder than i remember! stepper is not good when carting extra weight around with you! laughable sight seeing a big-fat-ass goin up and down.
hopefully primo will eliminate any chance of catabolism from cardio, though its only light cardio its a mind game thing...... im running, im getting smaller all the time.... you know the feeling.

on a down note, going to the doctors later, my throat is absolute agony! worst its been in a long time, so its time for the anti-biotics. hopefully at full strength after 5 days, maybe, hopefully!

rite, thanks for your reading time another update soon

rite, been to the docs, about to finish 5 days of antibiotics. weight is back to 242, appetite is getting better again( very hard to swallow, throat wasnt a pretty sight) varied my appoach to training last night, tried a chest/delt day on the 5x5 scale. liked it, so i will incorporate that into my post cycle regime.

cardio has been great actually, 2/3 times a week only for about 15mins funny thing though i feel fatter, but trousers are looser. thats weird, my mind is playing tricks again!

just another mini update, will post up again soon

The primo is an excellent drug for keeping muscle whilst restricting the cals. Just reduce things GRADUALLY. A bit of cardio first - and just see what happens. You can always do more things to lose weight if it isn't coming off fast enough.

BTW was at the Welsh in the evening only. Great show and I thought my old mate Steve Naylor was a worthy winner of the overall.

yeah i was there to. hanging around the bio stand with a stonkin great SLR camera! steve naylor was awesome!if i could pick holes it was that his calves werent on par with his upper body, but what a chest! my god a worthy winner.

cals are the same, cardio is added, just gonna wait until i start clomid to start clen. mainly as an anti-cat. then cut up to under 10%BF then a string of 2 week courses to bulk to a contest weight of 230lbs! thats the plan anyway. 250lbs@10%bf is the hole im shooting for

thanks for time taken to read

things still feeling good. changed my approach to training a bit, been feeling tired for a couple of weeks. so instead of running the risk of overtraining ive gone over to a heavy 5x5 routine
chest+delts yesterday
70lbs (each) cable flies (lying on swiss ball using low pulley) 5x5
incline bench 200lbs 5x5
rear delt 30lb (each) 5x5
standing delt press(smith machine) 150lb 5x5

felt good, nice pump, bit sore today. weight is down 1lb but that might be fat from doin the cardio.
