cycle length and dosage
Guys, I am going back on for a lean bulk in a few weeks. I have done 4 or 5 previous cycles from 5 weeks (mast prop) to 25 weeks (various test)
Whats the general opinion on cycle length..
I am considering a lowish dose like 250 test e/w for 20 weeks or 500mg test 10-12 weeks. I've read some conflicting info with regards to what is best, the 20 weeker should yeild long term gains and alows me to see a difference over a longer term arguably more keepable gains as the body gets used to the extrra muscle - whilst running a low dose there should be less sides however the negative is that I am shut down longer.
I am currently 14 stone 11 lbs (been cutting naturally for 7 weeks and dropped from 15 stone 9lbs so far) I am now feeling like I am losing muscle on this cut. I am 13 % bf according to the calipers I use and the 5 site test etc.
I have lost a noticeiable amount of fat however after losing an inch from either arm that has virtually no fat on thm I am worried about the catabolic effect of the diet, perhaps I haven't got the balance right etc.
So I guess I am using the test to hold on to/ slowly build muscle, whilst chagin my diet to a more carb cycling one (I buoght HIPACC to try) which means that there are days when I am in deficit due to diet and cardio, and on training days I am on surplus to help promote some growth.
Any opinions on the way to go, or infact if I should be trying a different med?
