dam time wasters (rant)

any one else feel the need to hang time wasters

after listening to a friend complain for 2 months that he dosent want to be fat and run the risk of a heart attack

i spent the last 2 weeks working out a diet and training routin for him

now he decides he cant afford the £25 a week price of the food on the list

he eats £15 a night of weight watches meals £5 of donner meat or pizza 5 packs of crisps between 12 am and 2 am

then more junk for breakfast dinner and tea plus 2 bottles of coke a day
but cant afford £25 a week for healthy food

annoys me how someone can put money and junk food over a healthy and long life

(had to get it off my chest either that or give him a slap

Tell him, when hes on his own, to just strip butt naked and stand in front of the mirror spending a few minutes just looking at himself.

Then tell him to ask himself, is that what he really wants to stay looking like or does he want to keep eating crap and look even more worse and grotesque.

If the answer is yes, let him be, if the answer is no, then explain to him that things dont happen unless one makes them happen by making a change.

Still though, as a mate, you did right in spending time helping (well trying to help) him out, if someone did that for me, I would really appreciate their effort and do something back for them.

Hazard a touch of narcissism without shame.
There is no room for junk food in any diet whatsoever, leave the junk in the bin.

I just think anyone who wants to loose weight..it would be a road they would have to travel on there own in the beginning. This would really show who really wants it and those who dont.

Answer there questions to your knowledge, point them to sites such as MT, but leave it at that. I would never do any plan of such for anyone...simply cause they will never learn the determination and the discipline needed in changing there lifestyle.

i think thats the thing that annoyed me the most no appreciation for my efforts no thankyou or ille look into it just a very poor excuse that £24 a week is more than he can afford

then he gose out today books a week in spain and spends £50 on t-shirts.

guess its in his hands now he has the info his choice that to do with it

I tried to help a few people out like this and got me nowhere, so now when they ask I give the shortest possible answers.
I have a friend who keeps saying I need to get bigger this bla bla bla and hasn't lifted anything in over a year, well dear matey you're not gonna get bigger anything than your belly that way...
Also another mate who doesnt want to invest in some equipment.... doesnt want to join a gym and doesnt want to invest in some equipment...moneys not that much of an issue with him....so i dont know...some people are just weird and like to moan and find excuses....
Needed to get that off my chest... these guys wind me up these days...

I've got 2 weeks left in my Fitness Instructor course (I have to do this before I can enrol for Personal Training course). And there's this 1 cvnt who just doesn't shut the fvck up. When he sees all the food that I bring in to class (we get 2 breaks) he starts ragging on me that i'm an idiot and obsessed, and that he hates how bodybuilders look and he has no idea why anyone would want to look like that. But when he goes to the gym all he does is train chest, tri's & bi's . And he seems to have an opinion about everything, yet when anyone tries to argue/prove a point he ignores them, as if the words that come out of his mouth are the bible.

And while doing our First Aid portion of the course last week, he enlightened us all that he's not interested at all in this field of work, and he's going to get into real estate. He said he only did it because "it's just something to do", basically he's just there to ask stupid questions and annoy everyone, while i'm there trying to learn. When any exams come up he just copies the answers off of one of his girl-friends that is also doing the course. I could go on all day about him and how much I want to belt the sh1t out of him.

Thanks for making this topic harris24982, you've got me pissed off now

Some people are just full of waffle I'm afraid. They hide behind excuses as its an easy cop-out, but they seem to always have a plan for tomorrow.
