decline on decline db bench press

I know the lower incline on an incline bench(around 15-30 degrees) the more the chest is worked. And i was wondering whether not the closer to flat the decline bench is set at the more the chest is worked (if that makes any sense?)

Any help much appreciated
Cheers,
BT

TBH i think that unless you are training at the extreme end of incline and decline you will always be hitting the entire chest, the shift of focus particulary in decline is negligable, even dips involve use of upper chest fibers and you cant get much more of a decline than that!

i do decline bb as ive read from about 3 sources including mt that it helps for strength as opposed to muscle building by trying to 'hit' the bottom of the pec as was once believed.

results, none to feed back on as of yet, i mean, if decline does help with a slight tiny bit of increase in strength for a chest press, surely this would be beneficial as youll be able to load up more or do more reps on flat or incline bench db/bb press.

just my 2 centavos worth though

yeah i know alot of people prefer incline and think decline is relatively useless. Im just switching things up as ive done incline for a while and was working on the off chance that declien would help my lower pecs
