depression, will taking test help or aggrevate?

due to some emotional sh*t in a relationship breakdown I have had to go on anti -depressants to pull me back up. doctor prescribed me amitriptyline tablets. i was wondering whether taking test would help bring the old me back?

I was in the middle of a cycle when this s*it happened and couldnt eat, sleep or focus on anything. I lost 2 and half stone and am only 16 stone now. My appetite is not yet back to what it was and have been on the amitriptyline tablets for 13 days. I couldnt finish the cycle and only did hcg for PCT. When I took the clomid I felt even more emotional and I didnt have any nolva. The crash was due to not eating rather than test level..... as somedays I ate nothing and sometimes just one meal, or pieces of fruit.

Its hard to fight back when your hit with an emotional test........ Lets hope things can only get better.

Advice appreciated....

Hey man, I am in no way a doctor or therapist or qualifide in any way to give consultation, but I am very familiar with depression so I will give you my 2 cents for what it is worth: being emotionaly wrecked from a bad break up is something I know a lot about, that **** will **** you up for real, no way getting around it, and even with medication only TIME is going to make that **** better, but it does get better, time is a bitch that you have to deal with. That being said taking test should not help with it, adding more substances to the problem is never a good idea, however and I know I am about to contradict myself but in theory a cycle could help you in the short run. On test I seem to feel very confident, things bother me WAY less, hardly anything gets to me, especialy woman. I have a general sense of greater well-being, which may be a big help. In no way is it going to be a end all be all solution to the way you feel, that **** is still gonna hurt reguardless for a long time, and when you come off your cycle your emotional come down from the test may be more difficult than it would have been otherwise. You have lost a lot of weight, which will make the situation worse because of self confidence, which is already probably low due to the situation. Getting your weight back up and looking good is a great idea, it will keep you busy training hard in the gym and keep your mind off of that ****. Plus other woman are going to notice you and hopefully you will realize that your the **** :) don't let this bitch (and don't get mad at me for saying that) ruin your life, it's bad enough that you are going through what you are but that is no reason to let it affect your weight, strength, appearence. Also, clomid is a bitch for causing serious depression as a side effect, it most definately made your situation worse, I would advise against taking it.

How long were you on cycle, what were you taking, and how much of it were you taking? How long have you been off cycle? What is your age?

Stay away from the androgens as thegoodlife says; adding more to the hormonal equation is disasterous considering your present state. I know from experience.

I have to second that again man, the more I think about it the more I think that the best thing is to get your hormone levels back to normal ASAP, the fact that you did come off test during the situation and that you did clomid probably made it a lot worse then it would have been, not saying that it wouldn't have been hell anyway, but there are varying degrees of hotness in hell ;)

Get your body back to normal, eat and train as hard as you can in the meantime, and get out there and get some fresh pussy man :)

ok peeps. Thanks for that. I will pass on the testo for now. See if I can put back alot of the size naturally over time with muscle memory. If not I will just wait till Im feelin better in myself then hit the sauce again. I was on testo's and tren. Sh*t I was large bro. Didnt make me aggressive, felt good. Then the drama and then you can forget the SUPERSIZE me.!

Self esteem is one of the worst things to effect training. I lack motivation train at the moment. When I clear my head I will be back..... I swear to put all my weight back on with 2 x 6 week cycles with a 2 week break...... between them.

maybe muscle memory will be my saviour.....

I only hit the clomid for 2 days and then thought F**k that. Sh*t was making feel worse. I knew there was a possibility of it.

Clomid made me lose my ex-gf. It is to be given the respect it deserves.
Pimpdaddy nothing says you cant use Primo, winstrol, anavar etc. I am sure this help you get back, albeit slower to your goals.
I am on Primo at the moment and find it fantastic. I wont use test again for a long time for personal reasons.

No way should you use gear when going through personal trauma. Take my first hand experience on that. I lost a lot of weight from not eating last year and stopped my cycle immediately. Bad enough having things going on in your head with out the sides from Clomid adding to it. Give it a few weeks and then start it again.

    Hey Pimpdiddy,

I split up from ex about a year ago and know exactly how it feels. I could'nt eat, work and lost intereset in everything. I could'nt even read a newspaper because all the negative reports made feel even lower.
The only thing that'll help you get back on track is time. Sounds sh*t but its true, no amount of roids or any other drugs is gonna help, they will only cause your emotional state to fluctaute. Your mind will heal itself naturally it'll take a bit of time though.

    All the best.

Just think! Now you are free to meet somebody else! This is what I try to remember, and it happens every time.
