i do 5x5's on parallel barswith weight, try both to see which one you prefer. i personally hate the bench dips.

    Block:

Parallel bar dips are a far superior exercise to bench dips, not even in the same league.

    Frankie,

How far do you go like to go down on parallel bar dips?

Personally when dipping I tend to avoid going further than parallel otherwise it puts too much strain on my elbow ligaments (especially when dipping with added weight).
