eating times

is it possible to gain muscle when only eating like a horse on trainning days?do u think it is just building up fat reserves if u eat like a horse when your body isnt trainning.seems to me that we spend a lot of time eating and getting fatter just to loose it in order to cut up for months which would seem pretty hard work.there must be a way of eating and trainning with a balance so u dont have all that fat to loose.and still gain muscle?advise please wud be welcome

Broken muscle tissue takes weeks to heal.

EDIT: to answer your question...... Going by the statement i made above you need to eat well (like a horse) on none training days also. You can cut back on cals on none training days, but keep protein the same.

you do not have to eat like a horse you just need to feed your body what it needs - good, clean food, medium fats, fibrous and slow releasing carbs and enough protein.

i'm sure there are lots of posts in the nutrition forum.

eat about 6 smaller meals a day and a few protein shakes, nothing in between. and stay away from kfc and fish and chips.
