erm o2 contract help pleasE?

got a o2 contract and lately its been going a bit high.. this month it went way too high for my liking
so i was wondering is there any way to get a warning or stop usage after a certain amount on the bill?

Yeh you can change tarriff anytime you like and as many times as you like. you are only tied to the company for 12/18 months ( and that phone with no Up grade fee but thats diff ) There are ways out of your contract cheaper than normal etc

My hubbie was put on a wrong tarriff with them and phoned to change it and they wouldn't let him without making him pay something extra for a new phone. So he told them that he would be making no more calls with them and would let the contract run for the remaining duration and gave his notice to cancel as he was going to move elsewhere as that would be cheaper than upgrading with them. Funnily enough he got the tarriff changed for free and paid a small amount for a new phone!

the tarriff isn't a major point for me right now its the bills
i only found out how high mine was when i got an automated call today saying its gone over .. and they'rejust checking to see if its ok
i.e making sure it wasnt stolen and some one else was using it. but i kinda hung up on it

Because my hubbie was on the wrong tarriff he was paying over the odds. Pays more on a monthly contract now but much less on calls, therefore, we win
