f.a.o the doc or someone in the know.. anavar = no dramas with blood pressure??

Looking at going on 30 mg of anavar British dragon for 4 - 6 weeks as I've had it sitting about for too long and want to use it up..

Have not touched any gear in 3 years to my recollection, only done winstrol, dianabol and napalons, averaged about one course a year with no sides on any of these (to my knowledge).

Used to occasionally take E/C/A's but rarely take these and I understand not good for my blood pressure.

Don't smoke, only drink 3 times a month on a weekend, strong and fit (just done a 10k run with little training).

Anyway I am 32 my blood pressure has been the following over ten years: -

1997 130/80,
2000 124/86, 2004 134/104,
5/10/2006 170/110 (had a bad row with family a few days before unresolved at the time and I quite a fiery person when wound up),

13/10/2006 137/93, 4/2007 137/93 or thereabouts can't remember.

My mother and father both in their late 50's have above normal blood pressure never taken any blood pressure drugs all their life until they hit their 50's, so I presume this is just hereditary and nothing I can do so to speak.

Happy to take the anavar but was just being cautious thoughts..

    hi m8 ...

i'm no doc so will leave bp ques to some1 else. but 30mg anavar for 4-6weeks is too low for too short a time IMO.

I am fairly well built not looking for size or strength really just something to rip me up.

If I went on deca/sustanon I would look dispropriate.

On 35 mg of winstrol within 3/4 weeks I put on a half a stone and looked too big...

Believe it or not people do make decent gains with little mild gear...

Anyway blood pressure anavar or am I just going to through caution to the wind ??

    TTT thanks in advance.

    Really? That's quite surprising

As for the hypertension - aside from the 170/110 most of the others are fine / borderline / just over normal.

If there's a family history it may be wise to speak to your GP about it if the subject has not already been raised.

Anavar will have least impact on blood pressure compared to other AAS.

so I presume this is just hereditary and nothing I can do so to speak.

You can still do all the right things such as reducing salt intake, cardio etc, makes a difference.

Thanks for the unbiased replies from everyone. I am basically powerlifting at the moment and playing 6 a side football/running.

5ft 10 ins 15 stone stocky, due to my shape/natural build I would look TOO big if I went on anything other than a mild thing, family/friends/girlfriends in the past have said I've looked stupidly big even with the mild course of Winstrol as described previously.

I am a fiery/blunt person by nature and self employed and have worked for years part time as a doorman... so these things don't probably help the blood pressure...

I don't have a G.P at the moment (this is being rectified - long story), but I have a family friend who is a consultant who gave me a once over two months ago in general basically said I was fine but to keep a check on my blood pressure.

Pretty much bar having a decent drink three times a month, I am clean living, I don't use salt, I don't have butter, basically my diet is reasonablly clean, bar caffeine but I've started to cut that down to only two cups of coffee a day.

I've been training fairly hard lately, but just want to make a bit more of a push safely and although my consultant advised me my blood pressure was a bit higher than normal, I am just trying to be sensible as I get older.

So basically I was just looking for a 2nd opinion the blood pressure/anavar thing, if that's cool, I will go for it.

Thanks again in advance for the replies.
