farmers walk for fingers

i have been fortunate enough to look through the latest edition of mens health ;))

in there it had an exercise where you basically hold a dumbbell by the plate as like when you grab a kid by planting your hand on top of the head so that you are basically holding the dumbbell from one end only and by your fingers. the other end points downwards to the floor. you can then go for a walk whilst squeezing the weight. tried it n it was ok apart from you cant use a heavy weight as your hand cant get round the larger discs. its meant for finger strength.

any thoughts? keep it/ditch it.

if you can find one heavy enouh, then go for it. otherwise, stick with plate pinchingmate.
