Re:fasted cardio ?

I'm hitting the cardio for the next 8 weeks as I'm just trying to shift the slight bit of fat around my lower abs for holiday.
Would fasted cardio be worth doing in the mornings whilst weight training in the afternoons? (heavy, with a four day split routine.)
I know it's nearly impossible to build muscle whilst burning fat, but I don't want to commit to a outright cut and just need to burn a couple of pound of fat.
