Favourite - seeing who can pick up the heaviest thing.

Least favourite - seeing who can carry it furthest or rep it most.

    Fav 3-
    Car Deadlifts
    Atlas Stones
    Fingal Fingers

    Least Fav 3-
The one where you throw the weight up over the wall???
    Pulling
Where you hold 2 axes up to buzzers, and when it goes off the buzzer, time stops

Also liked the bar bending from the 80's, another is the one where they wore the car with like suspenders and ran a race with it...

guys here don't like the farmers walks? I love them! Also, way back they used to hold the champagne bottles in lateral position for time, that was good as well, though quite an isolation movement in comparison to others. Log lifting is my fav as well.

I don't really like the pulls either.

    Like :
    REALLY heavy farmers walk,
    squats/deads for max weight,
    log press for max weight.

    Don't like :
Tyre flip (especially when its light or downhill),
    Carry and drag,
Weight for height - its a laugh but annoying when powerful competitors lose cause of bad aim

All this year in the wsm the tyre flip was last and usually the result was already decided - made a boring event even more boring. I like flipping the tyre myself though, when it is not full of water![xx(]

There are too many events that test how long you can bear a load or how fast you can do a certain amount of things or number amound of reps. I dont mind this but they definately need to mix in some brute strength lifts. Like progressive single deadlifts or squats until there is a winner or the same with the log press, im not limiting it to just these events this could go for other things also. They just need to mix it up more instead of so many timed events and repetition events.

    Favourite 3:

Maximum Log Clean and Press - putting a massive heavy object overhead is always impressive....
Silver Dollar Deadlift - ..as is deadlifting a stupidly heavy weight!
HUGE Vehicle Pull (but not train pull - that sucked this year!)

    Least Favourite 3:

Arm Wrestling - thankfully this seems to have died out in strongman.
Bench Press - hate to see this in strongman!
Weight for Height - too much skill and technique to be a pure test of strength.

But that doesn't sound quite so impressive...
