feel my pecs ;)

i've finally gotten over my shyness! i've said this elsewhere but i'll say it again... i'm 24 years old, 5'2", 9 and a half stone. my goal at the moment is to lose 1 stone of chub by the end of feb.... then i wanna put on lots of muscle (i'm modelling myself on the she-hulk - muah hahaha!) hopefully keeping a journal and putting it on MT will help me keep on track.

i'm even putting up a pic so everyone can have a good laugh! i find it really embarressing so be gentle!

http://uk.photos.yahoo.com/pinky_mctang

today i ate:

8am - 1/2 mango, 2 kiwis, 30g oats, 6 egg whites, 150g yofu
11am - 200g cottage cheese, 1 1/2 kiwi, 2 ryvita
12.30 - cup cooked brown rice, 125g tofu, steamed broccoli
2.30 - 200g fat free yoghurt, apple
5.45 - 150g cottage cheese, pear, 2 weetabix with splash soya milk
9.15 (postworkout) - scoop whey
10 - chicken boob, steamed black cabbage and green beans

its a bit more than intended (ryvita, yoghurt, weetabix) but felt very hungry all day, decided to give myself permission to eat clean food otherwise i would probably end up making bad food choices later.

training: back/bis (don't laugh - i'm a weakling)
lat pulldown (no weights on plates, just numbers) 8x8, 6x9, 6x10
deadlift 8x60kg, 6x80kg, 2x90kg (just wanted to see how 90kg felt -it was heavy!), 6x80kg
one arm row 8x24, 26, 28kg
alternate dumbbell curls 2x 10x10kg
concentration curl 10x8kg, 6x10kg
hanging leg raises 3x10

would write more but i've got lessons to plan for tomorrow...

You dont look chubby in the slightest. You have a lovely shape. (And you're hot;) ) You only weigh a few pounds more than me anyway so don't you dare say you're fat! Your hand placement looks so pretty. My hands just kinda hang there when I pose. Have you had any dance training or anything or are you just naturally graceful looking?

not bad at all. nothing to be embarrassed about. so you're cutting at the moment? 90kg is a lot for a girl your size. I would eat more at 2.30 and some ppl recommend avoiding too much fruit when cutting at it is quite high in fructose which causes an insulin spike.

You look a lot like one of my good friends. Looking great to me, I dont see the chubbyness at all. IF you call that chubby, im a regular fat body.

Lessons to plan? Are you a teacher?

Is it possible to have a pic of your calves? A lot of my mates are from the far east and have amazing calves! Must be a genetic thing...

thanks everyone for the encouraging comments. its made me really happy. i'm too used to my sisters saying i look "too manly" and calling me "manbeast" lol.

any shyness i had has completely gone. i'm definitely going to take some more pics at the first possible opportunity. also, can anyone tell me how to change my journal name to "feel my pecs"?

liz - hahaha! i'm blushing. no formal dance training, did pole dance but wasn't that good at it - my adductors were too muscular so instead of sliding down the pole they'd grip onto it! only been weight training since march/april.

suggy - i'm 60kg, not 90kg! last week i tried no fruit but i couldn't stand it. i'll try to gradually reduce it.

pusha - really appreciate the legs comment. in my eyes they're *huge*, they seem twice the size of any normal woman's legs!

slyblackdragon - i teach art to 11-18 year olds.

jimmy - i'll take some calf pics soon. maybe its an asian thing - i naturally have very muscular calves.

    6.45 - 6 egg whites w/ cabbage, 30g oats, 150g yofu, small banana (50g)
    10.30 - 200 cottage cheese, clementine, apple
12.30 - 1 cup cooked rice, 125 tofu, 1/2 red pepper, 5cm cucumber, 4 cherry tomatoes, green beans
    4 - 1 1/2 veggie burgers (150cals, 18g protein), clementine, pear
8 - scoop protein, cup soya milk
9 - small chicken leg, steamed green cabbage, 50g butternut squash

gym: 10 mins bike, 20 mins treadmill, 10 mins stepper. set it on hill and went and fast and steep as i could. stretched afterwards, haven't stretched for a while - ouch!

i know it should do cardio first thing in the morning but it means getting up at 5.30am. i tried it for week, as the gym isn't even open at that ungodly time i have to run in the streets which hurt my shins so i'm making this compromise.

can't wait until tomorrow - chest/shoulders/triceps. so excited about it! thanks for motivating me.

urgh! just ate some (ie. loads) cereal and small banana. feel bad about messing up. its happened enough times for me to suspect that i'm not eating enough, esp carbs, in the day then get really hungry late night. tomorrow i'm going to try adding small amounts carbs to my mid morning and afternoon snack.

KMP, you look great, from what you have said I would say you are naturally muscular (you lucky thing)
Ignore your sisters etc, they probably cant cope with the idea of a female wanting to be anything but stick like, fools!

Hi, your photo is lovely. Do ignore your sisters as they are probably only jealous that you are nicely toned. It is the muscles that give the body its 'shape'! You seem very strong too for a woman especially one who has not been training for very long! Keep up the hard work and as Liz said, do not call yourself fat (I am smaller than you and weigh heavier![V]) so you insult me too when you say this[B)].

thanks for muscle/ strength comments, medusa and kitty. i seem to put on muscle easily but have trouble with getting bodyfat low. any tips would be appreciated.

    incline dumbbell press 10x12kg, 10x15kg, 6x16kg
    incline flyes 2x 10x10kg, 10x12kg
    cable crossover 10x40lbs, 2x 8x45lbs
    seated dumbbell press 3x 10x10kg
one arm cable lateral 6x20lbs, 8x15lbs
    reverse cable crossover 3x 10x35lbs
    bench dips 10x20kg, 10x 30kg, 10x40kg
one arm reverse pressdown 3x 10x35lbs
    hanging leg raises 3x10

i still feel like i'm holding back with the weights. got to push myself more next time. happy with the 40kg bench dips, next week i'm going for 50kg.

eating was okay. didn't have classes in the morning so had first two meals at home and a lie in!
    8 - 6 egg whites w/cabbage, 30g oats, small banana, 150g yofu
10.30 - cereal (alot!), soya milk, cottage cheese
1 - cup cooked rice, chicken, steamed greens
    4 - 1 1/2 veggie burgers, 2 rye crackers, pear
8.45 - scoop whey, cup soya milk
    9.30- chicken, greens

felt really full all day, probably due to all the cereal i've been eating. told boyfriend to stop buying it for me.
