finding yourself on google earth!!

anyone do this?  i look round the local area at building works that have been done etc, find jobs i have done etc.  For quite a while i knew where i was when the images were taken, on a roof near leeds talking to two of my employees!!  vans on the drive etc etc.

they have now updated the images, and they were taken sometime in october, can find the job we were working on (roof under a blue tarp) but im not at home (my car is gone) and its a weekend! grr cant find myself!!

As long as you have the biggest on the estate ey

I must confess to getting a bit nosey with the Streetmap function on Google Maps, noseying up streets and zooming into people's gardens and upto their front door.   hehe

In the map on the RHS, where you have the zoom bar and a plus at the top and a minus at the bottom - just above the plus is a small icon of a man.  Hover over it.  If it's grey, it's not an area that is Street Mapped yet.  If it's orange you can click on it and drag it to an area on the map.
