first timers class..end of may or later

hello my friends, i am looking to enter a first timers class after the end of may. im being realistic and looking to compete and not win.
In gods honesty i will only be able to come in cut at about 205lbs at 6ft..[B)]could i get on a first timers stage at that size or would i get laughed off? condition will be good and maybe the weight a bit more as ive just started a big cycle?[B)]
honest answers please guys, i am way behind the times on comps these days..BF will be 6% or lower i can guarentee.[:o)]

thank you for your time in repling in advance, regards, Rich[:X]

I ask my friends that all the time and sadly i have no answer, id say go for it or hang on and do the first timers at the northwest in nov give you some time to add a few pounds maybe..

rich mate - I have seen first timers and you wont get laughed off.
In fact a 200lb well conditioned physique could very well walk off with the win.
The mansfild classic is a good well run show to try, and there are alwyas plenty in the first timer class of varying standards so you will get a good measure of where you are up to.

Go for it - if I am going to step out on stage this year - then it would be great to see you up there too.

i think you should do very well at that size BF% you have enough time to diet down .many novices would like to come in at 205 ripped, just be the best you can be and dont worry what anyone else thinks .

Most first timers are nowhere near 200lbs or if they are they dont look it which is as bad!

Mate, I did my first comp, Mr Hercules in Colchester 2002, at 217lb at 6'2". Came 2nd (should've won blah blah).
If you are shredded then you'll look better and probably bigger than someone heavier who's not in as good condition.
Go for it mate. Fantastic experience.

Catmeatchunks, I'd love to get a copy of the vid mate, I'll PM you my email address. Rob was in great nick, very dry but I felt the size wasn't there.
    Didn't go last year.

crack on mate,if your pleased with how you look and your condition on the day what more could you ask for, always remember every gym has at least 20 members that almost competed if it wernt for the cat having kittens that day,or somthing simaliar like that,so anyone who does see it through and gets on stage is a hero in my book, good luck mate.
