this was recomended to me be a bloke who goes to my gym, i was just wondering what is it and what does it do? cheers

    loads of people will say "jack ****", however there's some evidence to suggest it aids recovery and boosts immunity. i take 5g pre and post w/o since it reduces the amount of times i get ill / colds etc. Seems to work well for that.

    Glutamine is a conditionally essential amino acid. That means that under periods of stress and exercise your body cannot produce it in large enough quantities. As mentioned above there is evidence to suggest that it is a useful supplement.

    I also use it regularly, although I cannot vouch for its effectiveness from personal experience...
