good start to the day

i eat two Bagels in the morning with a small protein shake, the bagels have a nice carb level and have a supprisingly high amount of protein too!! they come in lots of flavours as well, i alternate between bagels one week and oats the other.

Bagels are high GI and GL, if your looking for an insulin spike there OK though.

sounds like a good start to the day. but Serberus makes a good point, Bagels are a high GI food.

I would sell my soul for a bagel right now. Far too high of a GI for a comp diet.
