got a driving test tommorow

my PCV test, doing it for my job as I need to drive offenders around

passed my normal test 8 years ago in a manual car and have driven an automatic ever since and have had 3 half days practice driving a 16 seater minibus (manual gearbox) in a town I have never been to before as it is where I am taking my test

Normally I am pretty confident, but I am 50/50 about whether I will pass or not.

wish me luck

I wish I was more attractive like Dagless.

    Good luck with it bro

I had my LGV (class 2) last week and failed it!

Some knob is a silver sierra closed me out at a junction (I had to cut the corner as the lorry was quite large)

Watch your speed bro as creeping over 30 in a 30 zone will be noticed quickly and 33 or more could eaily mean a 'serious fault' which means a fail.

Just imagine you have a bus full of 100 year old pensioners and drive accordingly! (Im being serious here!!)

    Have a good one bro

probably be able to resit soon, I'm not making ezcuses, but the course I went on was a charadé from the get-go

coupled with having to be up at 4:30 am this morning to get there didn't help me

I had to have an olympic breakfast at a little chef on the way home to calm my nerves.

it was actually pretty good, pretty big and cost £6.99, but I think they may have given me a bit extra as I am dead nice to look at

a pedestrian crossing turned at the exact wrong moment and I had the choice of an emergency stop on a downhill in the rain or to keep going and I kept going

another was taking the wrong line at a roundabout

another was moving over lane before I indicated apparently, but I am not sure where

    Sorry to hear that bro.

At some test centers the pass rates for LGV PCV are very low indeed.

I checked out on the DSA website and some test centers are as low as 22% pass rate. I think that its often just a case of getting a decent round without any knob car drivers or a tit examiner blowing things out.

Dont let it get you down mate, just bang in for a re-test asap.

    Cheers, R
