hayfever and honey...

im starting to get hayfever now summer has just about started and ive been told that a spoon full of locally produced honey combats hayfever. I can see the logic, pollen, bee's, honey etc. Question is, does anyone know how far does locally produced mine, 1mile, 5miles, 10?

I got some hayfever and allergy relief tablets from Asda on recommendation from a mate who suffers bad and they seem to be working spot on. They were only about a quid for a weeks worth.

    Worth a go...

Loratidine are available as generic tabs, £1 for 7. They don't do much for me so I use the Beconase spray, that's the shiz right there.

i take tablets but ive been told by loads of ppl, including a GP, that taking honey will build a resistance up to pollen and over a period of time become immune to it.

I've suffered with Hayfever badly this year and tried everything. Someone I work with said to try hypnotherapy, was abit dubious but thought i may as well give it ago. had one 10 minute session with the therapist and not suffered with it since.

I was fully aware of everything that was going on while i was having the therapy. they just got me to relax and then told me that the hayfever wouldn;t bother me anymore. That was about 5 weeks ago.

I know people will say that's rubbish etc.. but as it was explained to me, everything is controlled by your mind. Worked for me and a few others I've mentioned it to.

The therapist was in west london if anyone wants the details.
