I stopped having them years ago. They're not much bigger than mini eggs these days

They're about 60p each now aren't they? 60p for a tiny egg barely two inches tall. Since Kraft took over Cadbury's the 'cream' is probably margarine now anyway.

I told my wife this story last night, she eats these fairly often and she never noticed it had even changed.

We were in tesco she bought like six seperate she said it was cheaper than in a box, but it was probably just as excuse to buy more.

I used to eat munches but they also used to be 30 pence

Ahh the days when you could get a choc bar, crisps and coke for a pound.

If you love something let it go,if it comes back to you it's yours,if it doesn't it never was.

This is what Kraft do: They buy a brand name and then change the composition of the products for cheaper ingredients.
They should have never been allowed to take Cadburys over.
The same with Quaker products, increased  the sugar content to increase profit margin.
A totally unethical company IMO.

Ignorance: Reassuringly Expensive.

"The spokesman added the eggs may have used Dairy Milk in its shell in recent years but it has never been advertised as such."

Do they not think that the consumer is capable of recognising this without being told through advertising. It's almost as if they believe that we will only buy what we are told to buy!

Haven't eaten one in decades, and IIRC I spat out the last one I bit in half.
Chocolate delights me not; no, nor fondant filling neither...

Agreed, that filling has always been rank.  Apparantly it's un-processed care bear man-juice...

Millions upon millions of Britons disagree with you judging by the volume of eggs bought in the annual window of production.

I myself haven't had one in about 10 year or more.
