how long til it becomes unnacceptable to wait for a chinese

I've been waiting almost 40 min... when would you say, "**** that" and phone to cancel your order?

Make sure it's in the container and not dripping out of the bag when it does arrive.

if you asked when you phoned up id say anything 10-15 minutes longer than that.  If you didnt ask how long, then i guess they could have thought you werent bothered, our local chinese often quotes delivery times of 30-40 minutes, despite being only 5 minutes away

if you want it quickly go pick it up!

Shoulda smacked his head off the wall.

p.s. time slows down by a factor of 4 when you're waiting on a Chinese, it may have only been 10mins.

I'd wait an hour before making any rash descisions.

I wish I was more attractive like Dagless.

Am I the only one that thinks all chinese takeaways taste the same where ever you go, almost like they come from one big factory and are microwaved and posted to you. I do like chinese however, if anyone knows any names of dishes that aren't sugar specials then please let me know.

Festar: You can't plead poverty with 2 cars. That's like a little Kenyan chap pleading poverty with 2 packets of uncle bens rice hidden under his bed.

There is a place in the city centre here, if you ask for sweet and sour pork, you'll get two mangey pork chops, a small bucket of sweet and sour sauce that could be used in chemical weapons, and a portion of rice which i would guess has been scooped up off the floor from behind the bins with the cat and dog skeltons. I think the owners are Vietnamese.

On the outskirts of the city, there is a place owned by a family of Hong Kong Chinese. They put the utmost detail into everything down to fresh fruit in their tea. Only problem is that it taste so damn good, you can't order just one meal.
