how many sets of biceps durin 1 workout

hi i was just wonderin for the best chance to build bigger muscley biceps how many sets do u lot think we should do durin a workout and how many times a week should u work your biceps i was workin mine twice doin 15 sets each workout but after advice ive cut down to doin 7x6-10 twice a week do u think thats suitable or is it to much

    I'm pretty sure you've already posted this in a thread i've just read.

    I personally do not individually target the bicep, It's an absolutely tiny muscle comparatively and i can't see the point in dedicating 20-30 minutes of a session to it.

    My bicep will be hit in session 1 when i do bent-over rows, and you could argue hanging leg raises.

    In session 2 it will be hit when I deadlift and do chins.

    still think its too much.

    i would exercise them once a week, maybe 5 sets. otherwise, as el burkus says, you work them enough if you have a decent back routine.

    Far too much in my opinion

    I do:

    wide grip pull ups 3x6
    rows (of some form) 3x6
    preacher curls 3x6

    ... and working well

    Raw dead Lift 320kg
    Raw bench 171kg
    Shirted bench 200kg
    Amateur cage fighter @ 95 - 105kg

    Why are you so concerned about building up big biceps? Triceps make up more upper arm mass then the biceps.
    Train the Biceps with Back on the same day, and do something like; Deadlifts, Bentover row, Chins, Bicep curl, Hammer curls.
    Only 1-2 isolated exercises (which hit the muscle from different angles e.g underhand bicep curls and hammer curls) are needed with the rep range of 6-8 and 3/4 sets. Same goes for Triceps

    If you dont gain from that then I think you should re-view your form and diet

    Great. 15 sets is too much imo, and if you train your back hard you wouldnt need this many sets to stimulate growth

    I'm agreeing, yet again, with CC here

    15 sets may be best for SOME people

    But for the majority I'd say it's far far too much

    Chill, let it be lol, everyone starts somewhere and he will soon learn that bodybuilding isn’t training biceps for 15 sets twice a week but instead mastering big compound exercises and using isolated movements accordingly in moderation.

    marky your in the wrong forum we are not here to argue and cc i dont just train biceps for 15 sets a week im white person and my chest and shoulders are really muscley and toned just my biceps im havin problems with mayb now i know i was workin them to much its just all my black friends have massive biceps and they dont even workout thats the reasons for my post
