how to increase vertical jump?

I play basketball alot and i was just wondering what leg exercises to do to increase my vertical jump. I currently lift my legs hard but will that necessarily help me out with my jumping ability? My leg routine currently is:
squats: 4 sets of 6-8 reps
seated leg presses: 5 sets of 6-8 reps
leg extensions: 3 sets of 8 reps
calf raises: 3 sets of 12

Can someone critique this routine, and let me know if this will be enough to increase my vertical jump. thanks

vertical jump is best improved by polymetrics. take a look into a program like "Air Alert 2" or something like that. I used this type of program for 8 weeks and increased vertical by 7 inches in high school, since then i did some research on polymetrics in general and raised my vertical from 30 to 43 inches in around 2 years. i stopped doing the polymetrics for the past year though. search for it on the internet, there are plenty of sites around.
