iTunes & Windows media Player Quesions...

Used to put all my cd's onto my PC through WMP, and there obviously saved to PC music folder.

I now have Itunes and its copied everything accross, can i delete everything from the old music folder without affecting iTunes now? space is getting scarce on PC...

Also any pro's and cons of doing this? i often wipe PC etc, can i do the usual and move the Itunes music folder to portable drive and back without it thinking i'm doing something dodgey like putting my tunes on all my mates PC's etc...

Cheers...

Blimey - you must have a shed load of CD's. Get an external HD and back up to that. Regards the ipod - you can connect it to up to 5 different pc's in it's life time but you will need special ipod to pc software if you want/need to transfer stuff back.
