Definitely not. I had pretty bad spots when I was younger and I used to pop a lot of them. I ended up with some scars. They're nowhere near as bad as they used to be so they definitely get better with time, but still rather not have them!

It's annoying though because popping a big throbbing spot is often a very satisfying thing!

Yeah my chest has quite a few too. Even more satisfying than popping a normal spot, popping one on your chest that is in the same follicle as an ingrown hair.

I did this once and not only did all that yellow septic stuff burst out everywhere, a massive long hair came out with it. It was glorious... LOL

Depends on the spot, if its close to the surface and nice and ripe and will pop easily, I always pop it, I find it heals better/faster this way.
if its what I call an "underground" zit I don't even attempt it because its really difficult to pop them and usually ends up looking a mess and they usually scar.
I always wash my hands and the area where the zit is thoroughly, then pop it, always make sure all the yellow gunk comes out which is usually followed by clear stuff, and sometimes blood...I clean the wound, then take a shower, by next morning its usually healed better than it would have if I had not popped it.

Definately. Nothing worse than a full grown bloke with a spot, looking some an adolescent schoolboy.

I say yes, and also why is it that all ladies (well the ones I have known) get all excited at the prospect of a good spot to pop? lol
