Theres also an argument for having both a pre and post workout shake.

Personally I have a meal about an hour or so before training, whey + maltodextrin in water straight after, then another meal about half an hour later.

Brizo has it down to a tee. Double up on your after workout shake size compared to the size of your usual shakes.

Hello mate, welcome to MT. Whey in water post workout= faster absorbtion which is good straight after you've trained hard. In milk it will slow absorbtion down, more timed release if you like. Personally, I use milk with whey last thing at night so am being 'fed' through the night
