injured - need diet advice please

Morning all - need some help and advice if possible. I have a tendon injury in my right shoulder and will be unable to do any upper body training for around 4-5 weeks. I can still continue with cardio and leg work though. I have recently been bulking and gaining on around 4000 - 4500 calories per day. However, as I am unable to train for 4-5 weeks should I continue with this calorie intake or drop down. I was thinking of keeping my protein levels the same but dropping carb levels down to around 200g per day. My main aim is to preserve as much muscle as possible without puttin on too much body fat.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

THanks.

im no expert but are you still training lower body?

would be a good time to cut a bit of fat with cardio so when your shoulder is better you can go on a decent bulk!

I had tendon injury in my left shoulder and left bicep. I was out for 8 weeks. I didn't do any training at all I thought it would be good to rest every muscle, a part from playing football twice a week.

I eat exactly the same way as when training, but I had a MPR instread of the post workout shake. I've got a little fatter for sure, but I swear I've grow muscle as well after having 8 weeks out!!! the long rest didn't hurt me.
